Piano Points

Incentive Program:

Qualitative practice, instead of quantitative practice, is the goal. The incentive program is a way to motivate students to practice their piano assignments productively rather than mindlessly playing through their pieces.

How the Incentive Program Works:
The student will receive one check mark for each page (lesson songs and theory/technique) which means that they pass. Once they reach 50 check marks, the student gets to pick a prize from the prize box.
Students who are taking online private lessons get to check out the prizes from the website. Students will get to pick a prize, and I will mail the prize to the student’s home.

This incentive program works well because it encourages the students to practice with their minds fully engaged, consciously working towards passing their pieces.
